General Eligibility (exceptions apply):
You were the victim of sex or labor trafficking;
You would suffer an extreme hardship if you were removed from the United States; and
You complied with any reasonable requests from a law enforcement agency.
You may be eligible for a T-visa even if you didn’t report the trafficking to law enforcement right after it happened.
A T-visa is only valid for 4 years, but you can apply for a green card after 3 years.
You can’t get a work permit until the T-visa is approved.
